Welcome to the Church of Life and Praise. We are a vibrant, growing community of Jesus lovers located on the rocky coast of Maine. We believe God has strategically placed us here to serve as a "Citadel of Deliverance" where those who are in need of rest and healing can come and be made whole. Here at the Church of Life and Praise, we view the mission of the church as a continuation of the book of Acts. It is our contention that the Christian walk begins and ends as an ENCOUNTER with GOD. Once we have been transformed by the love of Jesus, we must then BUILD RELATIONSHIPS with other believers who will help us walk out our faith. Finally, we can CHANGE THE WORLD by carrying out the commission of Jesus to, "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation."
